Raptors injury update November 19th 2022

Raptors are down to a 9-man roster with all the injuries now

With so many Raptor players sidelined due to injuries, it's hard to keep track of who's injured and who isn't. Here's a list of the current status of every player on the roster.

  • Gary Trent Jr. missed his third consecutive game due to a non-COVID illness. He was initially diagnosed with a hip issue, but it turned out to be a virus. Now, he's dealing with a virus in his stomach.
  • Chris Boucher is also out due to a non-corona-related illness.
  • Otto Porter Jr. is still recovering from a dislocated toe. He injured himself on Monday night in Detroit. He didn't travel to Atlanta for Saturday's game because of the injury.
  • Delano Banton, who missed the last game because of a strained left calf, will not travel to ATL either. Instead, he's staying in Toronto and continuing treatment.
  • Pascal Siakam, who missed the last contest because of a Grade II strain of the adductors in his right thigh, returned to action on Tuesday. However, he didn't play any minutes. On Friday, he was seen working through drills without pain.
  • Precious Achiuea, who missed the last outing because of a sprained ankle, remained sidelined on Friday.

With these absences, the Raptors are down to 9 healthy bodies. And if anyone else gets sick, there won't be enough healthy bodies to cover them.
