Toronto Raptors versus San Antonio Spurs Game Preview November 2nd, 2022

The raptors are coming off an impressive victory over the Philadelphia 76ers, where they won by 30 points. They're currently sitting at 4-3 on the season. The raptor's defence looked awfully dangerous against the Atlanta Hawks Monday night.

This is the first time the two teams have met this season. San Antonio has been a great surprise in the NBA, with a 5-2 record. They're coming off an impressive win of their own against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday.

Keldon Johnson and Devin Vassel are not expected to play tonight. Their combo has proved 43.7 points per game which is close to 40% of their total offence. This is bad news for the San Antonio Spurs since they rely heavily on those two guys to score points. Without them, the Spurs won't be able to keep up with the fast-paced offence of the Raptors.

Gregg Popovich will probably stick to his game plan no matter what happens, but he'll definitely have to adjust if the players he has available aren't capable of keeping up with the Raptors' speed.

Siakam has had a remarkable start to the season, averaging 26.1 points, over nine rebounds, and seven assists per game. He's doing so while shooting at a high rate of 47%.

The Spurs will have their hands full with Siakem and his explosive supporting cast of Van Vleet, Barnes Anunoby Trent.
