Frequently Asked Questions

What does "We The North" actually mean?

The Toronto Raptors use the anthem "We The North", also known as We The North Nation. It was created by Drake and Noah Shebib (producer).

Drake wrote the song at his Toronto apartment with a friend. He recorded Take Care with KanyeWest, another artist. Drake wrote lyrics about his hometown while he was there. Drake wanted it be representative of all Canadians. The song is about unity. Pride. Hope.

Drake started working on the melody for We The North when he travelled to London to film the video of his single "Nice For What." He recorded the instrumental version of the song in one take.

Drake was writing lyrics for the song when 40 suggested the chorus. After hearing the hook, Drake thought it sounded like a great idea and asked if he would record it. Together, they worked to create the final product.

The official music video for "We The North Anthem," was released on October 5, 2018. It featured Shawn Mendes (Canadian singer-songwriter) performing with Drake and others.

How To

Is it possible to bring my camera with me to a Raptors' game?

Follow the rules and plan. You will be fine. It is acceptable to bring a camera to an NBA match. You don't have to do anything illegal. But you do need to be aware of the risks involved.

First, think about whether you have to take photos during the match. As long as you're sitting near the courtside, you might be able to capture some great shots without having to lug around a bulky DSLR or even a smartphone.

These tips can help you take better photos of your favorite basketball games if you're serious about sports photography.

The second thing you must think about is which camera you are going to be using. Professional-grade cameras are essential for capturing action shots and memorable moments with your friends.

You should also decide how much time and effort you're willing to put into setting up your shot. Consider investing in a tripod, remote release, and other equipment if you are shooting hoops with children.

Finally, you have to figure out where to store your gear. You can't expect anyone to hand you a SD card or set up shop in an arena. Either pack extra batteries, cables, SD card cards, or locate somewhere to keep your stuff during the game.

It is important to plan ahead if you want high quality photos at sporting events. This will ensure that you get great photos you can use later.
