Toronto Raptors are an NBA NBA franchise. The Raptors were an expansion team to the NBA in 1995 along with the Vancouver Grizzlies. The Raptors are the only Canadian-based NBA basketball team.

They combined the expression "hear us roar" and another popular saying, "never die." This became Toronto Raptors' official motto.
How did the Toronto Raptors do after Kawhi Leonard left town?
The Toronto Raptors had a great year. The Raptors won 53 playoff games in the 2020 season. All-Star point-guard Kyle Lowry was the catalyst for the team's success. Lowry averaged 19.7, 7.5 assists, as well as 4.8 rebounds. Lowry was joined by fellow All-Star forward Pascal Siakam, who averaged 22.9 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. Norman Powell, Fred VanVleet, and Norman Powell were key role players who made a strong contribution to the Raptors' roster.
